“I Highly recommend Sound Sound Studios. Its a nice wee cottage and Hamish is a superb producer with a ton of patience, mad skills and some serious dedication. Recording there was a fun, relaxed, creative environment and we were able to be at our best there. Just generally pleased we decided to use Sound Sound really :D”

“I commissioned Hamish to create an album length composition as a gift for my girlfriend. The resulting piece was perfect - atmospheric, danceable, and exactly what we wanted, even though the instructions I gave him were pretty vague - sexy and banging with a big introduction. He was able to take the brief and run with it, and made ‘our song’ personal and evocative.”

“Hamish created a soundtrack for our Edinburgh Fringe Festival show, “Some Explicit Polaroids” by contemporary British writer, Mark Ravenhill. The play was a compact hour and a half long and moved swiftly from scene to scene without pause. Alternately, we found ourselves in a living room, a street, a nightclub and finally, a morgue. Hamish’s soundtrack helped to create a strong sense of atmosphere across the various scenes, balancing the need for atmosphere with a soundbed that enhanced rather than drowning out the action. His remixes of superbly chosen pop classics punctuated the scenes and for me, provided the icing on the cake of a cracking Fringe show.”
