Departs at least every 10 minutes during the day (04:00–01:00) and every 15-20 minutes during the night (01:15–03:45) Edinburgh Airport
Service 17 – connects Newhaven, Granton, Muirhouse, Clermiston, East Craigs, Maybury Road, Ingliston Park and Ride, and Edinburgh Airport, roughly 50 minutes from Ocean Terminal Lothian Buses
Service 18 – covers Niddrie, Greendykes, the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, Gilmerton, Kaimes, Fairmilehead, Colinton, Clovenstone, Edinburgh Napier University (Sighthill), South Gyle, the Gyle Shopping Centre, Ingliston Park and Ride, and Edinburgh Airport Lothian Buses
Skylink 200 / 400 – these run connecting the City Centre, North Edinburgh and West Edinburgh to Edinburgh Airport — worth checking if you're in west Edinburgh, given where you're based Lothian Buses
Single fares: £2.40 on Service 17/18; Airlink single fares are £3.50 adult, and both are covered by contactless daily/weekly capping Lothian Buses
Note August 2026: Princes Street is currently closed, so trams are running part-route only between West End and the airport, and Airlink return tickets can be used on trams to bridge the gap; Service 17 is accepting tram tickets for the full route in the meantime — worth factoring in if your journey normally goes through the city centre. We are literally 3 mins drive or 15 min walk from Edinburgh Airport, though thankfully not on the flight path!
